IMPORTANT: Before upgrading any version of BroadPOS, ensure the merchant's terminal is not processing an open batch; otherwise, you risk losing those transactions. SwipeSimple is not responsible for lost batches due to incorrect upgrade procedures.

Important Update Information for TSYS Sierra
PAX has identified a critical bug in TSYS Sierra 43E affecting batch closure. Please follow the recommended steps below to ensure the updates are applied to the terminal properly.
- Check for and close any open batches on the terminal.
- If the current version of TSYS Sierra is 43E, completely uninstall BroadPOS before installing 44E.
- If the current version is 42E or lower, then upgrade to 44E as normal.
- NOTE: If you have already migrated from 43E to 44E without performing the above steps, you must wipe the terminal and reboard it with only 44E.
