Below is our list of app versions currently supported for SwipeSimple on PAX Terminals. It's important to keep your merchant accounts up to date with these latest recommendations, as these versions typically include bug fixes and improvements.
If a terminal device is not on a supported version of BroadPOS, an error message will appear. Merchants should contact their Merchant Service Provider to ensure the correct versions are deployed to their terminal.
IMPORTANT: Before upgrading any version of BroadPOS, ensure the merchant's terminal is not processing an open batch; otherwise, you risk losing those transactions. SwipeSimple is not responsible for lost batches due to incorrect upgrade procedures.

Important Update Information for BroadPOS Sierra
PAX has identified a critical bug in BroadPOS Sierra 43E affecting batch closure. Please follow the recommended steps below to ensure the updates are applied to the terminal properly.
- Check for and close any open batches on the terminal.
- If the current version of BroadPOS Sierra is 43E, completely uninstall BroadPOS before installing 44E.
- If the current version is 42E or lower, then upgrade to 44E as normal.
- NOTE: If you have already migrated from 43E to 44E without performing the above steps, you must wipe the terminal and reboard it with only 44E.
