The Items page lists individual sellable items with the item name and price.
Find items quickly by searching for the item name or price in the search bar.
Tap the name of an item to edit the existing item.
Create item
To add a new item, go to the Item Catalog, tap New and select Create Item.
Create an item by assigning the values:
- Title (Item or Services name)
- SKU (Optional)
- Track Inventory (Optional)
- Price
- Dynamic Pricing - (Only available for iOS and Web, see: Dynamic Item Pricing)
- Tax
- Modifier Groups - (Only available on the Register Software Package, see: Item Modifiers)
- Category (Optional)
To keep track of inventory, toggle the Track Inventory switch and add the Quantity of the item you have on hand. When this item is added to a sale, it will deduct from this quantity.
To add an image, tap Add Image and take a picture or select one from your camera roll to upload it. Images larger than 500kb must be resized to smaller files before uploading. Image quality is optimized using square ratio sizing (1:1).
Delete Item
To delete an item, select it from the Item Catalog. Tap Delete Item, then Confirm Delete Item. The item will be deleted from the Item Catalog on all devices associated with this account as well as the SwipeSimple Dashboard.
(Note that only Admin users are able to create, edit, or delete items.)
