The New Charge button doesn’t appear

There may be times when the New Charge option will not show up in the side menu of SwipeSimple. This usually happens because the associated Terminal Merchant account hasn’t been selected in the Device settings.

You might also see an error message:

This device cannot process transactions with this payment device. 
Please choose another payment device in settings.

To select the correct Terminal account and enable the New Charge option, please follow these steps: 

  1. Tap on the side menu on the top left (three lines) 
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap on Payment Device
  4. Select the Terminal Payment Device that corresponds to the terminal
  5. Tap on the back button on the top left
  6. Tap on the side menu on the top left (three lines) 
  7. Tap on New Charge
