Keyed Entry Transactions on Mobile

To process a keyed transaction on the web dashboard, use the SwipeSimple Virtual Terminal.

If your SwipeSimple account is configured for keyed transactions, you can enter card details manually in the SwipeSimple application instead of using a reader or tap to pay. 

1. On the reader connection screen, select Keyed Entry. 
2. Complete the card details section. 
   1. Card Number
   2. Expiration Date
   3. CVV
   4. Name
3. Complete the AVS section.
   1. Zipcode
   2. Address
   3. City
   4. State
4. Once the required fields are complete, the Charge button becomes active. If a required field is missing or card details are incorrect, the app indicates which field still needs input, by highlighting the field in red.

Important Notes

• Card number and Expiration Date are always required.
• Other fields may be required by your Merchant Service Provider and will highlight in red to indicate they need to be completed. 
• For international cardholders, AVS is not available, however the zip code field does support Alphanumeric characters in 7.26.0 or higher.
