How do I change or reset my password?

You can request to reset your password from either the SwipeSimple Mobile or Terminal Application and from SwipeSimple's website. You will need to have access to the email account associated with your SwipeSimple account to complete a password reset.

From the app

From the app, select Forgot Password from the login page.

You can enter your SwipeSimple login email address to receive instructions for creating a new password. These instructions will be emailed to you. You'll need to click on the link to reset your password. Passwords must be a minimum of 15 characters, and recently used passwords cannot be reused.

From SwipeSimple.com

From SwipeSimple.com, select the login button in the top right corner of your screen. From the SwipeSimple login page, enter your email and click Next. You can also choose to remember your email address for quicker login next time.

From there, you will see an option called "Forgot Password," which you can click on.

You'll need to enter the email address associated with your SwipeSimple login and click Continue.

If there is an account associated with that e-mail address. You'll receive a message with instructions for creating a new password. 

Locked out? 

Too many failed login attempts will result in being locked out of your account. Please wait at least 15-20 minutes after the last failed attempt. After that, we highly recommend resetting your password to stop further lockouts. Once it's successfully reset, you should be able to log in. If you need assistance with logging in after a lockout, please get in touch with your merchant service provider.

Did you sign up for SwipeSimple through one of our partners? (Most Common)

Your merchant service provider is the best point of contact for support. They will have access to your complete account details, the ability to make changes to your account, and the ability to answer your questions about SwipeSimple or your merchant account with them. 

The contact information for your Merchant Service Provider can be found in SwipeSimple. 

On SwipeSimple mobile and terminal, select the sidebar menu and choose Settings. In the Support section, select the first option which is the name of your Merchant Service Provider and you will find their phone number listed. 

From SwipeSimple Web, click on the question mark in the bottom righthand corner and select 'Learning and Support' to find the phone number for your Merchant Service Provider. 

Did you sign up through SwipeSimple Connect? (Available since September 2023)

Merchants who signed up through SwipeSimple Connect should contact the SwipeSimple Support team. Click the Help button at the bottom right of your screen and complete our contact form.
